Hartford City Mission is currently supported on a regular basis by the missions budgets of Valley Community Baptist Church, Avon, CT and First Church of Christ, Wethersfield, CT as well as by the charitable donations of several other partner churches and many individuals interested in supporting the work God is doing in Hartford's north end.

Dear HCM Friends,
Our busy summer season of ministry is going really well so far. We praise God for all of you who volunteer and donate to help make this possible!
This summer we have set a goal to send 20 teens from our Hartford YoungLife ministry to YL's first-rate Christian camp, Lake Champion, for a week designed for urban teens. That is more than double the number we were able to send last year! In the past many of our teens have made decisions to live their lives for Christ as part of their summer camp experience.
The total cost for each person to attend camp is about $400, and the Lord has blessed us with a generous family willing to match the donations of others, paying up to half of the total cost of camp for our group. That means that you could send a kid to camp for a week with a gift of $200!
So if you would like to help us send Hartford teens to this great camp and have your investment doubled with the matching gift, you may either make a donation with your credit card here on the web site or mail a check payable to Hartford City Mission to HCM, P.O. Box 320397, Hartford, CT 06132. Just make a note saying "YL camp" when you give your gift. Any amount you feel led to give would be perfect. The matching gift opportunity will run through the end of August.
